JUICE OF THE DAY: CARROTS, APPLE AND PINEAPPLE


Sean is not feeling well right now.  I hope this one will help him freshen up....blended Pineapple, Apple and carrots.  Now i am telling him to have some ginger tea.  And no buts!

 These are dinner, grilled fish and pork barbecue.  They were not done yet but Sean took a picture of them already.   He was too excited with the food but too tired and feeling sick right now.  I hope he feels better tomorrow.

ON TRAVEL: SEE YOU IN A FEW MANILA!


On our way to Gate 60, We went past some parked planes.  Tired Sean is already complaining.  Sleepless night and tired from preparation and house cleaning earlier.   I told him he can rest on the plane and that will do.  Time to shut phone off now.   See you in few, Manila!

Good Morning Sydney!  Blogging Live at Sydney Airport.  Local time is 7:30am and we are home bound, Baby!  A quick grab at Hungry Jack's for breakfast.  Oh how cool is this?  An app of Sydney Airport! Yes, we downloaded it last night and it is awesome.  Everything you wanted to know is in there, flight schedules, the maps for Terminals 1 & 2 (arrival and departure levels), shops and dining and more.  It is so handy and helps your way all around the airport.  Well, thanks to me! I was the one who found the app... and Sean is in awe of me! (as ever) hehehe!  Okay for now we need to get in past the customs to the lounge area.  We are supposed to be at Gate 10 but they've changed it to Gate 60.  Laters!

HAPPY EASTER!


It is a long weekend for us and it officially started today, Holy Thursday.  Some maybe celebrating it out of town with friends and families, bur for me this year, i will just be home with my mom.  I maybe bummed out a little but updating blogs and surfing the net keep me busy.  

I hope you guys are enjoying your long weekend wherever in the world you maybe at.  Do not forget to say your thanks and to commemorate the real reason for the season (well, for those who observing the Holy week).

Yes i have been there.  Probably, one of those places and restaurants that i have been that i really enjoyed the food.  Most on the menu are on big serving so it's all fine for sharing like what my friend and i did.

I got the Triple dipper for Appetizer.  It got Southwestern Eggrolls, which are crispy flour tortillas filled with smoked chicken, black beans,corn, jalapeno, jack cheese, red bell peppers and spinach; Wings over Buffalo (chicken drumlettes tossed in spicy Buffalo Wing Sauce served with cool bleu cheese dressing), Chicken Crispers.   Triple dipper is served with sauces for dipping.

She got Grilled Shrimp Alfredo for Southwestern Pasta.  It is made up of spicy garlic & lime grilled shrimp over penne pasta tossed in creamy Alfredo sauce. Topped with diced tomatoes, green onions, and Parmesan cheese.

For Southwest grill  i chose Fajita Trio - Grilled steak, chicken and spicy garlic and lime grilled shrimp. Served with warm tortillas, house -made pico de gallo, onions and bell peppers, cheese and sour cream.

Too full to have some of those sweet endings, also earlier though,  i wanted to have some Classic Mojitos but just too filled up for that as well.  Oh well, there is always a next time.

ON FOOD TRIP: J.CO DONUTS & COFFEE

What we've got on this box: Forrest Glam, Avocado Dicaprio, Snowhite, Choconutzy, Oreology & Heaven Berry

Another to-die-for sweetness!  But getting them is not that easy.  You will have to fall in line and be ready to get served like after 20 to 30 minutes.  Like i said i am not into sweets much but these donuts are not too sweet for me so it's a YAY!  Remember when you plan to get them, they are cheaper by the dozen.

ON FOOD TRIP: WHITE CORN KERNELS AND GRATED COCONUT



This you can not see and get anywhere before.  Now they are available in kiosk in some malls.  Steamed white corn kernel with fresh grated coconut. You can have it with milk and sugar but i preferred mine with just a little salt.  This kind i like than those yellow corn kernel in butter and salt.

WHAT'S COOKIN'? : BEEF STEW



Beef shank cooked tender with leafy veggies, spring onions, native bananas, potatoes.  I love this soup! I like it served steaming hot. I had lots of the native bananas.  They were kind of ripe adding some sweetness to the recipe.

ON FOOD TRIP: RED VELVET MOCHI






The first attempt was a failure due to food suicide over eat-all-you-can orgy.  Just too full to squeeze it in.  It was planned earlier and already in our itinerary to stop by and try out the new Red Velvet Mochi at Mochiko, but failed.

I would not miss it for the world!  Second attempt to have it and finally! The Indulgence!  I can not hide my excitement using all those exclamation points! As expected, craving for more!

ON FOOD TRIP: HAINANESE DELIGHTS










Missing Chicken Rice of Singapore so i revisited Hainanese Delights but ordered braised beef and fried dumpling this time.  I am into minced ginger like this and chili sauce since my Singapore days.  All spicy during those days.  Enough with the reminiscing! lol!  So the braised beef is okay though some beef cubes not that tender. I love fried dumpling just that these ones were small. From the last time i have been to these place i enjoyed the rice though not that close to that chicken rice of Singapore, this time i think i am not happy with it.  Something in it just did not taste good.  Oh well maybe this just goes to this branch.  Anyways, i love the ginger and chili.
