ON FOORD TRIP: JAPANESE CORN

Some afternoon snacks with the kids!

Steamed Japanese yellow corn on the cob still served hot from the pot.  I love butter melting and little salt all over it.  This should keep the kids busy.

ON FOOD TRIP: @ PADI'S POINT RESTAURANT & BAR

I had a little drink with the homies at Padi's Point, MOA. This one is located by the seaside area.   I love tower drinks in different colors.  I have always love blue colored drinks. They got live band playing. You can choose to be seated outside where we decided to be at that time.  Best location of Padi's that i have been to.

Speaking of, the area is located at the back of Mall of Asia.  A perfect location especially on a weekend.  This is one of the places you can  checkout especially if you got kids who are fond of rides like carts, octopus, zip line, inflatable water walking balls, and more.  A lot of restaurants you can dine in like Buffet 101, Vikings, The Star Movies Cafe, Blackbeard's Seafood Island to name a few.

Eye of MOA, photo taken earlier (no filter)

And of course, there is the Eye of MOA, if you want some time to just do the 360 scenic view of the bay and the metro.

ON FOOD TRIP: TOKYO TOKYO

CATCHING UP OVER LUNCH!

It has been like 10 years since i have last seen my cousin.  She is like a sister to me. Even with few years older than her, we have been buddies, did things and gone to place together.  She got her own family now and a pretty little smart daughter who i haven't met in person yet.  Took the time to see my cousin while i was assigned to one of our offices which is near their home.  Spent lunch with her and there were so much to talk about.  It was so nice catching up with her.  The years have set us apart but minutes together covered up those years.  And of course, time is not always enough for us.  I am hoping for more moments like this with her and to finally see her daughter.

Anyways, she wanted to eat here in Tokyo Tokyo, probably because she is into Japanese food as she stayed in Japan for years, and it was her treat..lol!  We had beef misono, california maki, chicken katsu and red iced tea.   We really had a great time!

ON FOOD TRIP: SIZZLING PLATE BAGUIO

Sizzling Plate Baguio, SM Baguio
T-bone Steak
Fillet Mignon and bacon
Pineapple Shandy
We were on a road trip and Baguio was our next destination before we head back to Manila.  Just before meeting an old friend from Singapore at Mines View Park, our gang decided to head out SM City for lunch. We settled on the tables outside Sizzling Plate. I am not fond of sizzling plates like in some food courts in malls so i was at first hesitant to dine here.  But we needed some long table and more space to accommodate us. Too late to back out as they already started ordering.  As we got our food, we noticed that the sizes were not that bad and the side dish veggies were still crunchy.  Well, we were in Baguio, where veggies are cheap and fresh.  Going back to our food...i say not bad. I liked it. Each meal was served with gravy and java rice.  Weather was not that cold but just cool enough to enjoy the food and drinks.

We rate this out of 5:
