no shelled seafood for me, too messy for me to handle. hehe!)

Bangus Relleno
Chicken Galantina
Fried Vermicelli
Baked Macaroni
To add with the photos above are potato salad, buco pandan, and the Beef soup made out of some internal parts and beef meat cubes in a bit bitter soup. Friends from different brands that our company carries came over to join us in the celebration. It was really fun and i had lots to eat! :)

WHAT'S COOKIN' SEAN? : THE PEACE OFFERING

A peace offering from Sean. How sweet this guy is? He knows how to buy me out from trying to almost do the silent treatment on him. And yea, he succeeded! I just hate sweet surrender.

First glass, layered jelly, cream mixture and honey graham crumble topped with Lindt choco heart. A heartfelt glass! LOVE it!

The other glass, layered Honey graham crumble and creamy mixture topped with peach slice and a choco from the Lindt luxury collection. Who wouldn't melt a heart on these sweeties.

I love them chilled! The frown on my face disappeared slowly when he showed me these! i hate it when Sean does this! Next time i need to be more tough on this and never surrender!
WHAT'S COOKIN' SEAN? : SWEET AND SOUR CRAB CLAWS

Craving for these scrumptious claws! I love crabs cooked and prepared in a lot of ways. Even plain steamed crab whether dip in vinegar with a little chili or serve with lemon wedges are just as yummy! Now, these claws need some crackling! Bon Appetit!

WHAT'S COOKIN' SEAN? : PORK RIB ADOBO

An ultimate fave! Still next to beef... Lol! Pork ribs are perfect for adobo. This was cooked dry. Yummy! Bayleaf and peppercorns made wonder out of this recipe. You can also make adobo with chicken cutlets. But Sean is not into chicken much. So he makes adobo out of pork cutlets.

SEAN'S FOOD TRIP: GARDEN CUPCAKESs

A box of flowers and a bee....a garden of sweetness is what i wish to be growing in our backyard. But these goodies came from an Orthodontist, a friend of the practice where Sean goes to work. The same sweet soul who gave the box of cupcakes on Easter. Just a little sweet for Sean so he just had a piece. See below photos for a closer look of the colorful cupcake toppings.

MITCH COOKS: CHEESY CASSAVA CAKE
My cuz Grace went to our place early in the morning. She brought us some of their produce. What was amazing was that she carried with her her mom's homegrown cassava. I was surprised to see such huge cassava. Too bad i was not able to take a photo of it. It was like 24-inch long and both hands forming a circle in diameter. Today is part of the long weekend, and kids are pigging out at home. I thought of making this a cheesy cassava cake. I got a two thumbs up from my nephew. I made it not too sweet and i am loving it! Two thumbs up as well to my cuz and aunt for having green thumbs!

SEAN'S FOOD TRIP: CHOCO CASHEW NUT COATED STRAWBERRIES
It's a sweet sweet weekend! Sean made these choco-cashew nut coated strawberries! Again and will say it for the nth time that strawberries are my ultimate fave fruits here on earth! This is just so sweet! These he got yesterday fresh from the market. On the left side you can see a siamese twin and like a fan looking fruit. These fruits he dipped in melted chocolate and crashed cashew nuts, a substitute for pistachios which he was not able to get. They are extremely, irresistibly luscious!

SEAN'S FOOD TRIP: TURKISH PIDE & SHISH KEBAB
On food trip down under : Vegetarian Turkish Pide and Shish Kebab. A quick meal that Sean got was something light and healthy. It has been a busy week and he had been complaining and kind of fed up with his regular meal. We recently thought of and checked out some easy to prepare meals. Strawberry cream ref cake will be yummy over weekend. I just can't wait!

ON FOOD TRIP: CEBU LECHON
These scrumptious dishes saved my day, Cebu Lechon Liempo (pork belly) & Cebu Lechon Manok (chicken) from Chic-Boy (chicken & pork). I was running late doing my groceries and would not have enough time to cook for lunch on a Saturday. It was already 45 minutes before 12 o'clock and i need to travel from the supermarket to home for another 30 minutes or less. I was thinking of what to cook when i got home and which one is easy and quick to prepare. Hasting and feeling tired, i do not think i can do that anymore. Finally, i decided to just order a cooked food so fam can have lunch immediately when i got home. Chic-Boy came to mind instantly. Not only because the resto is on the same place where i usually do my groceries, it is because their Cebu-style Lechons are one of the family's favorites from all grilled and inasal restos along the area. It's the juiciness and taste of the herbs and spices used for stuffing that i personally loved about them. Their prices are affordable and, i say, "worth it!". Lunch was served just right on time and family had a great time savoring the Lechons!
